Billy Wayde was born in Spokane, WA. He was raised by a singer and songwriter his mother, Ruth Best Harris. As a child he often listened to old western ballads, Rock a Billy, Elvis tunes and all the oldies that never left him even through his teenage years. He could often be seen climbing the stairs at his childhood home and stealing off to his room with his
mother’s guitar in hand (that he still has today) closing his door behind him to sing and write songs. He soon began to sing and play professionally. He had his first record cut by Camelot records called "The Rebel” He began to play Country and Rock a Billy all over Washington State. He also has played the Hacienda and was named song write of the year at the
C.M.A.A. Awards in Las Vegas. . Mr. Wayde is a
19 time first place winner and undefeated Champion Of Houston
Texas. Has won the top Ten List in the Elvis world in 2004. Has played the Isle of Capri Casino in Mississippi, live concerts at The Town Theater in Huntsville, TX, A sold out performance. The Conroe Creighton a sold out performance, sold out crowds at the Lake Theater in Lake Jackson TX.
Mr. Wayde has also performed in Bermuda, Las Vegas, cruises, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island, Cozumel, Cancun, resorts, Casinos and corporate events. |
